GOOD NEWS IN DECEMBER 2018!

Thanks to Mr Alex Davis (right, Anchor Freight Managing Director) and Mr John McCormick (centre left, Anchor Freight Logistics Consultant) from The Glasgow Freight Club who presented a cheque for £14,000 to Mr Enrique Garrido and Mrs Caroline Hanley at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow on 18/12/2018. The Club kindly raised these charitable funds at their 46th Annual Dinner Dance where Mr Garrido spoke about the work we do. The service thanks all Club members for their kindness and plans to use this money for specific projects to help our patients.

The Scottish National Spine Deformity service (SNSDS) exists to provide a comprehensive paediatric, adolescent and adult spinal deformity service to the residents of Scotland. This service was designated as a National Service commissioned by National Services Division in 2005. The service is staffed by a wide ranging team to provide holistic care and support for every patient.

The spinal operations are performed at two hospitals in Edinburgh; the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Clinics are held at these hospitals and the new Royal Hospital for Children, Govan, Glasgow.
